Project Overview
Strengthening cultural capability from the board table
Wikaira Consulting designed and facilitated a strategic wānanga for the Wikimedia Aotearoa New Zealand Board focused on strengthening the organisation's approach to Māori relationships, mātauranga Māori, and cultural capability.
The session helped board members explore how Te Tiriti o Waitangi could be reflected in governance, organisational priorities, and future partnerships. The wānanga also explored opportunities to improve the representation and integrity of Māori knowledge and content across Wikimedia platforms while building organisational capability.
